"Something made greater by ourselves and in turn that makes us greater."

-Maya Angelou

Just a few things from the past.

End Table/Magazine Rack

Juan's Magazine Table This has so many different kinds of wood in it, I can't even remember them all. The main part of the top is a piece of mahogany my friend Juan Salazar gave me. It has a frame of lighter wood, and is inlaid with a maple burl fish in the center. The legs are mostly cherry, with inlays of chakte coc and mahogany. The doweling is maple, with cherry and chakte coc knobs. From the collection of Mary Carrieri and Juan Salazar.

Cascade Chair. A Northwest version of the ubiquitous Adirondack Chair. The back is designed to evoke images of sunset.

Sofa Table - Cherry & Mahogany

Happy Luck Sofa Table Cherry Top and Skirt, Honduran Mahogany Legs. Fused Glass Tile by Willie Stixenberger. This high, narrow table is designed more to grace a hallway than to be hidden behind a sofa. It is one of several pieces made in September and October of 1996 using woods I had collected in my shop over the previous two years. From the collection of Tina and Michael Monti of Lodi, New Jersey.
